Hanuman Saves Life of Lakshman

Lakshman, younger brother of Rama was fighting with Maghanada, one of the brave worriers skilled with magical powers. He used used a Sakti weapon on Lakshman. Lakshman become senseless as a result. Rama and his Vanara sena were devastated. Fearing that Lakshman may not survive, they started looking for solutions. A wise physician from lanka named Susan was brought from Lanka to treat Lakshman. The physician told there are herbs called Sanjeevani in a mountain called Gandhamardan in Himalayas. That must be brought before the morning for Lakshman to survive.

Hanuman flew to Himalayas to fetch the herb. He could not identify the herb and lifted the entire mountain containing Sanjeevani to the battel field where Lakshman was lying unconscious. The phycian applied the herb and Lakshman became well.

A great battle was happening.
Lakshman, Ram’s younger brother, was very brave.
He was fighting a powerful warrior named Meghanada.

Meghanada used a special weapon.
Lakshman fell down and did not move.

Ram was very worried.
The monkey army felt sad and quiet.
Everyone hoped Lakshman would be safe.

A wise doctor was brought to see Lakshman.
He looked carefully and said,
“There is a special healing plant.
It grows on a faraway mountain in the Himalayas.
It must be brought before morning.”

Hanuman did not wait even a moment.
He flew high into the sky,
fast and strong,
toward the snowy mountains.

On the mountain, many plants were growing.
Hanuman could not tell which one was the right one.

So Hanuman gently lifted the whole mountain.
He carried it through the sky
and brought it back to the battlefield.

The doctor used the healing plant.
Soon, Lakshman opened his eyes.

Everyone felt happy and relieved.
Ram smiled with gratitude.

Hanuman bowed quietly,
glad that he could help.
